Workshops

Successful communication involves clarity of message, confident body language, and vocal strength. Discover a practical, hands-on approach to become an effective and convincing speaker. Building on techniques with the best tool at your disposal: yourself, you will learn how to inform, persuade, educate, and illuminate your audience. Since English is the most used language for science all training is done in English. This gives participants an opportunity to develop and practice their English language skills in tandem with their presentation skills.
Creative Communications EK offers a series of workshops in logical order. Each level can take 1–2 days. As a classically-trained actor and long-term English teacher, I also specialize in individual coaching for job interviews and accent training for talks. Another option is theatre improvisation classes for scientists, rooted in my experience as an actor and improvisor, which can help you quicken your reflexes, think in the moment, and improve communication.

We will learn and practice improv games to quicken reflexes, build confidence, test storytelling skills, and push past our comfort zones.
